Journal of Modeling & Simulation in Electrical & Electronics Engineering is an international journal (online) published quarterly by Semnan University Press, which was founded in 2014. The journal began publication in 2015, issuing two hardcopy issues (Serial Numbers 1 & 2) containing a total of 14 articles. However, due to the change in publication schedule from bi-quarterly to quarterly, since 2021, the journal has resumed publication and has been able to maintain a regular publication schedule. It reports the latest and most creative research results in all the fields of electrical engineering, including but not limited to these topics: power systems and machinery, control systems, communication systems, computer,  IT, AI, robotics engineering, biomedical, and mechatronics engineering, in the form of articles. It aims to promote the theory and practice of electrical engineering science and technology, innovation, engineering, and management.

The Journal welcomes contributions that promote the exchange of ideas and rational discourse between practicing educators and electrical engineering researchers all over the world. A broad outline of the journal’s scope includes: peer-reviewed original research articles, case and technical reports, reviews and analyses papers, short communications and notes to the editor, in interdisciplinary information on the practice and status of research in electrical engineering science and technology. Thus high quality research papers or reviews dealing with any aspect of electrical engineering are welcomed. Papers may be theoretical, interpretative, or experimental. The journal is published in English. Since Vol. 1, Issue 1- Serial Number 3 (2021), the printed version has been discontinued, and all articles have been published online only.

Scientific credit (Rank B) was granted on 14 January 2024 to this journal for the approved issue from Vol. 1 No. 4 (2022) by the Scientific Journals Commission of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.
